It is with great pleasure and anticipation that we extend our warm welcome to you all for the 7th edition of the Mediterranean Conference on Pattern Recognition and Artificial Intelligence (MedPRAI-26), scheduled to take place at Istinye University, Istanbul, Turkey, on January 23–24, 2026.

All accepted papers will be published in the Springer book series Lecture Notes in Networks and System (LNNS). LNNS is indexed in well known databses such as EI Compendex, SCOPUS, DBLP, INSPEC, Norwegian Register for Scientific Journals and Series, SCImago , WTI Frankfurt eG, zbMATH.

Building on the success of our previous conferences in Algeria, Morocco, Tunisia, and Turkey, MedPRAI has evolved into a premier platform for researchers and practitioners from academia and industry to converge and exchange ideas on the latest developments in pattern recognition and artificial intelligence. The conference is proudly organized by the Istinye University, Istanbul, Turkey, and our mission is to foster an environment conducive to insightful discussions and collaborative initiatives.

All papers accepted and presented from the conference will be published by Springer as a proceedings book volume in the Book Series, Lecture Notes in Networks and Systems

To ensure the high quality of the conference, all submitted papers will undergo a thorough review process by at least three members of the international program committee, with additional reviewers consulted if necessary. We will evaluate submissions based on criteria such as originality, significance, technical soundness, and clarity of presentation.
